Hi Rick,

I've gone in and configured the settings I want and it is reading the CD, but how do I begin the ripping?

Thanks for yur help. This looks like a program that I am going to use a lot.

Ken

Hi Ken,
I use CDEX for ripping all of my cd's.
Once you set it up, it's pretty much automatic every time.
You can find it under the audio/video heading at

I would recommend version 1.51.

whileripping cd's

Hello all,

I believe there is a way to have Windows Media player automatically go out
to the internet and get information on a cd while you are ripping it. I
think this is correct, but I am seeing no information in the help area
explaining how to do it.

If it can be done, can someone tell me the steps to take? Also, if it cannot be done with Windows Media Player, can someone tell me what program I could
use to do what I want while ripping?

I am using Windows XP Pro and Windows Media Player 10.

Thanks,

Ken
