Hi
I changed the subject line to match my topic.
Rick, you mentioned web hosting for $ 5 a month. Where do you get that? I think I was paying about $ 8 plus about $ 10 for the web site name. It was to much money for what I was doing with it.

God bless,
Mark

Hi Pete,
There are some html editors on both:
www.blind-computing.com
and
www.jaws-users.com
for creating web pages, or you can use Microsoft Word as I do, if it is
available to you.
Word does carry a lot of overhead, but for a text site as I have,
it doesn't cause the site to load any slower than a site written in an html
editor,
not to mention I don't have to learn html code, or learn to use another
application.
There are some sites where you can get free web-hosting, but they come with
strings attached.
Better to part with about $5 a month, and be free of those annoyances.
HTH,
Rick Justice

Rick,

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll check them out.

BTW, I tried using the free web hosting offered by Microsoft on the
Microsoft OfficeLive web site, but it is very difficult (if not impossible) to create a descent web page using JAWS. I've also tried creating some web
pages on GoogleGroups with somewhat more success, but it isn't always
straightforward. Guess it's time to try a paid hosting service!

Hi Peter,
You can easily create web pages with Jaws,
regardless of the web-hosting service.
Give this provider a look:

What web hosting services have people found to be accessible and reliable?
My criteria are:

1. I can make web pages using JAWS

2. The service should provide secure e-mail

3. Low cost

Thanks.
