Thanks for that! I can assure you that my copy of MSSE is updating very
nicely! The last update took place on November 19, which is today!

MSE updates itself automatically at least once a day.  You can verify this 
by visiting the Microsoft Update site and checking your update history. 
Updates to the MSE definitions database are listed along with the usual 
security updates.
