Don't really know what could be causing it, but what I standardly do if jaws
doesn't tell me what's happening on screen, I try alternatives to see if
they could maybe tell me something.
Primarily, I'd try either NVDA first since it's form of object
navigation/non-use of video intercept really makes it sometimes handle
things somewhat differently, but you could also just ry running narrator
along with jaws and see if it tells you anything.
This might not necessarily help at all, and another thing you could try do
is just leave it to do whatever it's doing for around half an hour since I
suppose it could be trying to do something like run some form of folder
process, or else your OE data might be corrupt as well, in which case you
might still need to try cleaning it up somewhat, but really not sure off
hand.
Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] I am still having problems with OE
Friends, I'm still having a bit of trouble with OE,.
Let me explain for those of you who didn't get my first post.
Firstly, I'm using jaws11 with windows xp home.
I got IE8.
whenever I open up outlook express, now keep in mind this has never ever
happened to me until recently.
Jaws will stop talking and a tremendous humming of disc activity will take
place.
Even if I try to arrow up or down again it will freeze and start whirring
again.
then when I close I get end program outlook express etc.
then of course I get that oh so lovable don't send button or send error
report.
I'm gonna throw this junk out the window!
