Hi Rosemarie, Microsoft will be supporting Windows XP until 2014, and you can continue to use it after that, there just won't be any security or other updates for it. Hi, Chris, Thanks very much for your response. I didn't think my version of Jaws would work with windows 7. If I do end up going to windows 7, I'll use NVDA because right now I really can't afford to upgrade to a higher version of Jaws or buy the other screen readers like window-eyes or system access. NVDA as of the current version is officially supported though and works on both 32 and 64 bit editions. I'm just asking because I don't know how much longer windows XP will be supported by microsoft. I don't think my version of Jaws which is 4.51 will work with windows 7 but I wonder if NVDA will. > > Thanks very much for your help. > > Rosemarie > > For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: > http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ > For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
