I did find one item that seems to make Windows Live Mail work better with
Jaws. I posted a note about it but just in case, here's what I discovered.
1. Go to the View menu by pressing Alt V.
2. Press L for the Layout menu. Tab to the "
Message Pane" check box and remove the check by pressing the space bar.
3. Go to the Okay button and press Enter to save your changes.
Many of the scripts set up for Outlook Express do work on Windows Live Mail
but not all of them do.
The Go To Folder script Control Y will open the list of folders but you
can't use first letter navigation to go directly to the folder.
There may be a setting for that but I haven't found it, yet.
As for the rest of Windows 7, I have found it a bit strange after XP but
I'm getting used to it.
In the words of one of our moderators, hope this helps or HTH.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Windows 7 with JAWS
Treetings:
I'm in search of information about how to make using JAWS 11 and Windows 7
work better.
For instance, I am finding that the default mail program and JAWS 11 don't
work as smoothly as Windows XP and outlook express.
I need to install Office 2003 on this new computer and am considering
seriously about using Outlook instead.
If anyone has come across any good info on how to get JAWS to play better
with Windows 7 I'd appreciate hearing from you.
