I did that and it didn't work. It was the first thing I tried.

You should set one of the e-mail providers as the default so that that
will be the first one which will sent stuff to your inbox before the
others.

When I used outlook I just set up different profiles. Each address had
its own one. That way I could download whatever emails I wanted at that
time.
