hello there;
Well, I have installed, dell wireless card network drivers, with adapter
still running, and, it worked just fine.

another way you can do this is?

if you have the drivers, you could delete the drivers from the device
manager/network adapters.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Network Adaptor Question

Does disabling a wireless network adaptor through the device manager have
the same effect as physically removing the card from it slot? I need to
uninstall and reinstall its drivers. It's my understanding from the
documentation that the software must be installed before the card is placed
in the computer. I need to try it this way because I have neither the skill
nor the inclination to remove the card.

Dan
