Iagree, Microsoft is not into philanthropy, so if it's a ligit product,
you'll have to pay for it.
Steer clear of anything offered as a "free download".

Not a good idea, as Excel and related products are commercial. Anything 
that is so called "free" are most likely illegitimate, unless they state 
it's a free trial. Just my thoughts.
