Sorry, Jim, my mistake. The correct keystroke for placing a temporary place marker is Shift-Control-K.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] setting place markers on the bard web site.

Hi all,
Whenever I download a book from the bard web site, and try to alt tab back to the list, to continue looking at the most recent book titles, I have to start over at the beginning of the list, rather than keep searching from the book I am currently downloading. I was told that if I hit alt control K on the book I am downloading, I could continue searching books from the recently added books list. Well, when I hit alt control K, kurzweil 1000 opens. so How do I set place markers using jaws 11, latest update, on a windows 7, 64 bit machine? Jim
