Dear Don,
Well, it is not my better half that knows, it is I but I keep her anyway!
LOL!

I have never scanned "slides" but I do not know why they should be any different from regular 35 mm pictures, except you will have of course to enlarge them when they are opened in whatever picture viewing program you wish to use, but that also is simple!

Write me off list, and I will be willing to exchange telephone numbers with you.

Mike already has my telephone number, as he has helped me with many things with JAWS and my XP computer!

Dear Mike,
I have scanned so many pictures into my computer over the years using Open
Book, it is simple!
Not for me, for the better half!
LOL!
So she can send them all around as attachments, to friends and family!

I know you have Open Book, so just use that!
Remember to check "Color" scanning
And when you save, save as
.tif

Call me if you want me to walk you through it!

With Best Regards,
Alan

   Hi All;

We have a number of 4 by 6 pictures that I would like to scan into the
computer, if possible. Can this be done? I am using an HP6200 series All in One machine, XP Home, & Jaws 10 latest. If this can be done, how would
I
do it? All advice wil be greatly appreciated. Thanks much. Take care.
Mike
