Hi folks, I need to set my computer up to restart every day as I'm off on
holiday and want to leave DigiTV running to record things; I've found that the
program crashes if left unattended for more than a day or two...

I've been in to scheduled tasks and think I know how that
works. I have also set up a shortcut on my desktop with the target as
%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -r -t 00

This throws up some sort of error message when it activates if triggered by
scheduled tasks, although it works fine if activated by hitting enter on the
shortcut or using the hotkey assigned to it.

I used to create batch files in the old days of DOS but can't, for the life of
me, remember how to set one up, although I would presumably use the syntax as
above if I could remember how to go about creating the .bat file.

Has anyone got any ideas? I don't care how I achieve it, as long as I can get
the machine to reboot every day at a given time.

All the frustrated best,
Barry G
