[Blind-Computing] Has anyone used VLC Media Player?

Hello. I am currently using Jaws 11 and Windows XP SP3. I have Windows Media 
Player installed but am unable to play DVD's. I recently read, in the Braille 
Forum, August 2010 issue, about an open source program called VLC Media Player 
which will allow me to play DVD's. Has anyone used this program? If so, I'd be 
interested in hearing about your experience with this free software.
