If it has an operating system on it already, in older operating systems,
hitting windows key + U will start utility manager/narrator to help you get
started, but in, for example, windows 7, I hit windows key + U, wait a short
while, and then hit alt + N to start narrator.
This isn't perfect, but it will then let me get started installing
screenreaders etc.
Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Laptop Setup
Hello Everyone,
I ordered a new dell latitude e6410 laptop computer, and it is scheduled
to
arrive tomorrow. Once it arrives, is there a way that I will be able to
set
it up without sighted assistance? I am referring to the initial setting up
that you typically have to go through when you first boot up a new laptop.
Thank you,
Kolby
