Hi John,
You are quite welcome. I am glad that it worked out for you. I do
find it easier to maintain my favorites by going through the desktop.
Take care,
Lennie

Marilyn,
I don't know if the following suggestion will work for you, but here goes.
I put my favorites on my desktop and I can open it and do normal file
function there. For example, I can select files to delete either in
sequence holding the shift key while I arrow down or randomly with
the Ctrl+spacebar. Here is how I put my favorites on the desktop.
1. Open my computer and local computer C
2. press enter on documents and settings (assuming you are using XP)
3. Go to your user name (Marilyn?) and press enter
4. Arrow down until you come to my favorites folder and press the
application key
5. Arrow down to send to and right arrow to desktop creating a
shortcup and press enter
6. Alt+F4
You should find my favorites on your desktop.
I would think that your favorites would be under documents and
settings your user name like mine.
Hope this helps,
Lennie

THanks for the ideas. Using the run dialogue and typing favorites makes
deletion very easy. Just use control d when you get to each favorite you
want to dump. marilyn
