In windows explorer, while in file/folder list hit backspace key a few times and it'll move you up in file hierarchy, and reach desktop eventually, so you can then copy shortcuts from there.

Alternatively, in tree structure on left, hit left arrow until focused on desktop, tab over to listing on right, and there the shortcuts will be available.

Stay well

Subject: [Blind-Computing] As I prepare to do a full reinstall.

Hi, I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before starting into the full reinstall, which I have never done before.
I figure, save the address book from outlook express,
And the settings for setting outlook express up again, which I already have saved to a file,,
But is there a way to save my desktop shortcuts?
I'd hate to have to go and find all of those websights 1 by 1 again.
Many of them I use pretty much daily and it's so easy to go to the desktop, say, when I get ready to write a note for my kid's lunch box, just click on bible gate way and go look up the scriptures and copy and paste them to the note.
Thanks,

Matt
