David, My internet wireless and hub is through my cable company. They are using wep, is there something else that I should do to protect things more since it is not protecting very well?

And WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is no longer considered safe, but it's better than nothing. Choose an encryption passphrase (password) of at least eight mixed letters and numbers. If your router supports case sensitivity and special characters, add some capital letters and punctuation marks.
