Hi,
First, it means that there is some background application trying to access a
web page without your knowledge and had been blocked. This could be a
spyware.
Second, Outlook Express is just code built into Internet Explorer, so even
if the browser is not active at the moment, it will be part of OE. Depending
with how the spyware is set to run, any code linked to IE may trigger it.
Third, Natrova is just a drug that was touted (or is still being touted) as
the best drug to kill head lice. This had been around since 2006, if I'm not
mistaken. However, this does not mean that the pharmaceutical company is the
one that is responsible for this background process. Drug labels
unfortunately happen to be candidates for rogue programs.
To better deal with this, I think Malware has done right by blocking that
app so there is no need to panic. However, you should consider also having
an antispyware program that might provide you with a detailed description of
this application. An antispyware will even remove it from your system.
Also you should also consider having a firewall program -- and one which is
my favourite is ZoneAlarm. I am sure you can get other suggestions from
other listers based on their own experience. ZoneAlarm would just inform you
of any program trying to access the Internet and where the program is
located. You can choose to permanently block the program or allow it. This
is true of programs using standard port numbers on your machine.
Meanwhile, it's great that Malware has some firewall features within it. The
only problem would be when a program masquerades as a good app only to cause
havoc later on the network.
Well, just my own thoughts. Hope you can find more.
Ishe,
We all have the right to be wrong in our opinions but not in our facts.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] malware working
hello
i have malwarebytes installed and working on my computer
i know it works because i get the report after scanning
however for some reason not known to me i get this message
"malware has successfully blocked a potentially malicious website or
something like that
this is all very well as it proves the program is working and of course
this is what is mennt to happen
but for some reason i get this report when not surfing the internet for
example like just a moment ago
now no one is surfing the internet here
in fact internet explorer is not even turned on
all i have running as i type this is outlook express and natropa hot key
whatever that is.
i still have no idea what natrova hot key is or what it does
but main question is why is malware reporting an attempt to get to a
malicious website when internet explorer is not even on
also re malware i get a report after scanning but is there a report on
what this blocked website is and if so where would i find it?
thank you
Yvonne
