Hi all.
It appears there is a free edition of Winmount. I can't tell the
difference between free and pro, but just thought I would let you know
after doing some research. It is now installed.

I needed that capability on my son's computer to create and mount ISO
images of CDs so that he could not damage the disks. I was considering
MagicISO,UltraISO, WinMount, and one or two others. When I was
evaluating, all three of these had limits on the free version and a
reasonable price for the full featured version. I will need to recheck
the MagicISO site, because, contrary to someone's response to this
thread, MagicISO previously also had a size limitation. All three are
great products and very useful. There are some small differences in
their features.
I ended up buying WinMount because it is able to mount many different
file types in addition to just ISO files. It even can mount a zip file
if you want. This helped for my son's case. I forget the file type I
used for the disk images, but it was not ISO.

Hi Don.
Why "almost"? What stopped you from doing so.

I have used the free version several times and almost purchased the full
version. It is powerful. As I remember it was not fully accessible, but
all of the functions I needed were easily accessible from the menus and
Windows Explorer context menus.

Hello all,
Do any of you use this software? I do and it's great. I've just paid
for a registration key so that I can manipulate disk images larger
than 300MB, which is not possible in the trial. It was only $29.95
(£19 in British pounds). I will also get free lifetime updates,
unlimited technical support via e-mail, bla bla bla. Just waiting for
this code now. I tried other free and shareware ones and prefer
UltraIso for its ease of use and powerful features. Think the website
is www.ultraiso.com.
Enjoy!
