Hi Matthew,
I did not find an option from the control panel to change the start menu to classic,
I believe that ability was last available in Vista.
Thanks,

From what I remember in the short time i used win 7 it took the stress off of it and you could navigate more like xp is all. It just made it easier if you didn't want to deal with the search box.

I'm pretty sure Setting the start menu to classic does nothing regarding the search box, right? Seem like 2 different things.

One thing you can do is to go into control panel to task bar and start
menu and set start menu to classic view. Remember though the search
field is a very powerful tool though.

I have found a way to disable the search box on the start menu,
now, is it possible to remove it?
