Hi Becky,
It sounds like it may be the same problem I have been having with Jaws since at least version 10. FS is aware of this and I have spoken with Eric Damery about it, and we haven't found the problem yet.
You should contact them and let them know that you are having this problem.
This is a Jaws problem, although it seems to be a rare one.
