Hi Yvonne; If the insert key on your number pad isn't working correctly, & you trying to use this key to open your attachments, that is probably why your attachments aren't opening. Try using the insert key that is located in your, 6 pack of keys located between the main keyboard & the number pad. Hope this helps. Take care. Mike
