Another thing that springs to mind is maybe you have put your wife in to the "blocked senders" list and this could also suggest as to why her emails always go in to your junk mail folder.
Next time you get an email from yoru wife, and it is in your junk folder, highlight the email press the application key then j for junk then n for mark as not junk. But also check your blocked senders list and make sure her name is not in the list.
