Hello. The quickest way that I know of to find out file info is to do the following: 1. Open the folder that contains the file that you want to view its information.
2. use the up and down arrow keys to find the file you want.
3. Now, press right arrow. Now, Jaws should announce what date the file was modified. If you press right arrow again, Jaws should tell you the file type. If you press right arrow again, Jaws should announce the file size. And of course, if you want to move back through this info, use the left arrow. As for getting the path of a file you searched, I'm not sure of a quick way to do this. However, there is a way to open that file's location. To open a file's location, do the following:
1. Go to the search box, and type what you are searching for.
2. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the file you want.
3. Press the applications key, or press shift with f 10 to open the context menu. 4. In the context menu, you should see an option called "open file location" Once you press enter on this option, the folder that contains the file you searched for will be opened.
