I'm currently using the HP 2400 flat bed scanner. It has been a real work horse for me. Using Openbook 9, I can complete up to three scans per minute, with good quality results. I do a lot of book scanning, and wonder if any of you have experience with faster scanners. I can't increase the speed at which I turn pages in the book, but if the scan time is reduced, that would make a difference in how fast I can process the 800 page book I'm working on now. If my current scan cycle is about 20 seconds, and I could find a scanner that would be five seconds faster, I could increase my speed by one scan per minute. But I don't want to give up quality either. I have the Pearl Camera scanner, but simply cannot get the accuracy of the flat bed out of it. Blessings, Tom
