Janet,

You didn't say how many duplicated files you are needing to delete so, I'll
tell you an easy way to discover and delete a small number of duplicate
files.

Using the Search for Files & Folders option, specify the full or partial
name of a file that you believe is duplicated somewhere on your available
drives and wait for Windows to present you with a list of what it could
find.

If a list is found, arrow up & down within that list and delete whatever you
wish.

Deleting items within that list should also delete the file and/or folders
from their location on whichever drive they are located.
