Hi Yvonne, When using the 7Zip program, & you press enter on the add to archive option, to archive / compress a file, you are given 4 options of what you would like the file extension to be, or which method of compressing you would like to use. They are as follows; 1. 7z. 2. tar. 3. wim. 4. zip.
