 Lois:

I have been working on my family tree for a while now and I have found a
website that has a free downloadable family tree program. Just Google "Free Simple Family Tree" and it should take you to the website. It may not have
a lot of bells and whistles, but it gets the job done. And The website
FamilySearch.org is a gereat resource also. It is managed by the Latter Day
 Saints.

 Hope this helps.
