What is the difference? He will end up saving the emails to the folder. That
is what I took him to mean. If he had said copy and paste to a file such as
a text document then sure what you said would make sense.

Hi Matthew,
As Jerry stated his question, he was wanting to copy and paste.
I took his question to mean that he wanted to do this with a group of
messages,
which cannot be done with the save as dialogue.
HTH,
Rick Justice

Hello Rick and all. I am currently using Outlook 2007. I have used this
method of saving emails with everything from outlook express to windows live
mail. Also windows mail and mozilla thunderbird. It has worked on all of
them.

Hello Jerry and all. You could always go into the file menu and then to save
as. I have done this for years and keep a folder with multiple sub folders,
on my external, of emails I have collected. You could either save them as
html or text.

I have created a folder for emails from the blind computing email list. I
use Windows Mail and JAWS 11. What I was wanting to know was can I copy or
cut the emails from this folder and save them to a folder on my external
hard drive?

Many Thanks.
