Hi Cliff,

In Word2002, which is similar to Word2003, while in the Word document that
you want to get the word count of, try the following;
1. Press Alt + T, for tools, arrow down to word count, & press enter.
2. Route the Jaws cursor to the PC cursor & press the page up button / key.
3. Now, arrow down 1 line at a time to get the word count & other statistics
for the particular document.

Hope this helped.  Take care.
Mike

  Subject: [Blind-Computing] Word Count?

  Is there a keyboard command, microsoft word, that would give me the number
of words in a prepared document?

  My office suite is Word 2003, very similar to 2000.
