Hi Randy, The brand of computer shouldn't make any difference, as long as it is running Windows, since Jaws will only work with Windows. The trick is first deciding exactly what you want the computer to be able to do for you, and then find one that will do it, and has the most resources within your budget. By resources, I am talking about processor speed, memory and hard drive capacity, etc. You should be able to buy one off-the-shelf, that has more than you will need, unless you do some extreme audio and video editing. Most likely, the widest selection will be 64-bit systems with Windows 7 so you might as well make the move. Happy shopping!
