Depending on the files that you want to copy there should be no problem copying the files from one windows computer to another.

If the files are of a specific kind of file, Microsoft word 2007 or Excel 2007 and you are copying them to a computer that only has Microsoft word 2003, you might have to download an update to allow the older version of word to read the newer version, but other than version issues there should be no problem copying from one computer to another.

You can just copy the files to a USB drive and transfer the files that way
or if this will be a routine procedure it might be worth getting a router
