On the audio page under the CDAndDVD heading it is at the moment link
number two.

I say at the moment as new tutorials are always a possibility, but for now
there is nothing in the works for that section.

I wasn't aware of that, David. Do you recall the title?

I am sorry to say that there is an audio tutorial on the server I did a
couple of years ago that covers this subject. I believe it is part two of
the series.

This is some what of a loaded question as it has multiple parts, so let's
try and take them a little at a time.

Gold Wave will convert MP3 files in to wave by a simple save as command. The
next part would be to burn them to disk converting them to the audio CD
format in the process. The files you are seeing on your CD IE CDA files
stand for compact disk audio and they are simply for the lack of a better
term pointers to the digital content on the disk.

So what burning programs do you have at your disposal. I am not a big fan of
iTunes and know nothing about real player. Gold Wave has no burning
capability unfortunately.

PLAYER

I have several good programs on my system but I can't seem to find how to
convert an mp3 file into one that will play in a CD player not capable of
reading those files.

I have ITunes,

Real Player,

GOLD WAVE:

One of those programs should be able to create ordinary CD disks but I don't
know how to go about it. The file types used by CD players are quite a bit
larger than mp3 files. They aren't .wav files either.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I used to be able to do this with Nero 6, but as we all know, recent
versions of that program aren't working with screen readers.
