Honestly, switching to Microsoft Security Essentials will make your life so much easier. You will not have to be constantly dealing with the accessibility issues of Avast. I made the switch about two years ago for myself and all of my clients and have never regretted it. You may require sighted assistance to get Avast removed, as sometimes it requires safe mode for a complete removal. But, once it is gone, you will not miss it.

I was away for a while and when I came back I updated my avast program and it updated to avast 7, is it my immagination or is the program not accessible to jaws any more?
does any one using avast know why?
or do you know if they plan to make avast 7 accessible to jaws again?
