I use the free AVG Link Scanner program, which flags web links as safe or unsafe before you clikc on them, but I am not aware of any such feature built into IE 8. If this feature is present in IE 8, could you explain how to activate it? In any case, AVG Link Scanner works well in conjuntion with MSE to provide an additional layer of protection.

Hi Steve,
MSE does not, but there is a similar feature in Internet Explorer 8,and
probably Internet Explorer 9 as well.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Does MSE Have A Site Advisor Function?

Hello,

I'm thinking of switching from McAfee to MSE, in part due to improved
accessibility. However, my McAfee package does include a function called
"site advisor", which tries to steer you away from clicking on websites that
may be harmful to your computer. Does MSE have a function like this?

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
