Hi.
got a live 1.4 headset which is usb. and using a microsoft lx 3000 usb headset.
i set it up and it works.
but when i do a test call for skype.
got the microphone volume up to 70 %, but it still sounds real soft.
the mike, is on top of the headset.
and it has a 3 foot cable.
so plugged into my laptop.
great sound.
paid $49 at harvey norman, about a month ago.
i know.
well.
testing out other things i purchased.
like my toshiba usb 1 tb external drive, because i stupidly dropped the western digital one on the

dining room table and it died.
now got 4 gb, purchase 2 gb ram, but forgot about jaws having to reset the key.
so had to use it in demo mode or use nvda, until i got a key reset the next day.
now it flies with windows 7 professional 32 bit.
and 2 minutes to power up and jaws talking, or maybe 3 minutes at the most.
30 seconds to shutdown completely.
a 4 gb usb flash drive, and a 3 gb wireless prepaid dongle, to use when i will
be on vacation, visiting family and friends in Adelaide.
and got this microsoft headset.
so if you have set it up with skype.
what options, do i need to set up in properties.
for the sound in windows 7, in control panel.
it also has it own volume control, so pretty sturdy.
a base, noize cancelling, so a real good sound.
first time purchasing a wireless , usb head set.
Marvin.
ps: maybe forward to aaron, if you cannot help.
