Amazon.com is a very reputable site and you should not have any problems. No matter what sites you visit on the Internet, the same advice applies: Make sure that your operating systems (Windows, OSX, Linux) is kept up-to-dates with all patches; Install a good security program, such as Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows; use safe browsing habits; don't open email attachments from people that you do not know.

Most important, don't spend too much on Amazon. It's real easy to do.
