Hello there; Did you mean to say f6? F5 will do nothing for you.

I am not losing focus as I remain on the link I am trying to activate. I've used Control+Tab to move away from that tab and added the Shift key to the command to move back with no difference. The problem is definitely website dependent as I can go back to the problem sites and continue to experience the problem. Although I'm using IE9, Sometimes this happens, I just press the f6-key, This seems to bring the page To focus; Or maybe, try; press ctrl+f6 this places you at the top of the page. -----Original Message----- From: blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Annette Carr Sent: Monday, May 28, 2012 9:42 AM To: blind-computing@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Cannot activate some links in I.E. 8 I've tried Insert+7 without success, as well as Tab and Shift+Tab and Alt+Tab. It really makes no sense to me and has me stumped. Another solution you may try is to tab or shift tab away from the link, then tab back to it and press enter. Remember, don't use the arrow keys, use tab instead. Jaws uses a virtual buffer which sometimes doesn't interact properly with some of the webpage elements. Hope that helps! Hamid AITOUZNAG "We never value what we have until we lose it!"
