Can't you use first letter navigation?

Now hit Tab once. It should announce which view is currently active and comment that this is a button. Press Space to activate the button. A pop up menu will appear with the choices; Category (default), Large icons, and Small icons. It sounds like you would prefer small icons. Arrow to your choice and hit Tab to go to the grid of icons. This may be easier for those not familiar with using the JAWS cursor.
