You didn't state if you run Jaws from the system tray or not so, I guess I'm 
going to have to work today!  LOL  LOL
If you run Jaws from the system tray, try the following;
1. Press Insert + J, for the context menu
2. Press the letter O for options, press the letter V for voices, & press 
the letter G for Global adjustment.
3. Now, tab, 5 times I think, to Upper Case Pitch Change, use your backspace 
key to delete the current number, & type in a new number,
try 25 as a starting point.  The higher the number the higher the pitch & 
the lower the number, the lower the pitch.  The default is 20.
5. Tab to okay & press enter to save your changes & close.
