Hi Mr. Justice,

I'm really sorry! I didn't mean to send this message to this list but, by
the time I realized what I had done, it was gone! I tried following these
steps in IE9 but, it seems like there is something missing or these
particular settings / folder options aren't in IE9.
Take care.

This is not a list for cel phones, only computers.
However it does reference IE9, so it stands.
You never know where the next good ppiece of information will come from.

Hey iPhone users
I just did this, and I got this off the Kim Komando website.
If you know anyone else that has a iPhone let them know about this.

Users got more than an improved Siri and the new Passbook app when they
upgraded to iOS 6. Apple's latest mobile OS has given advertisers a brand
new way
to track your Web surfing.

It's called Identifiers for Advertisers, or IFA. When you upgrade your
existing gadget - or buy a new iPhone 5 - that gadget will be assigned a
random IFA
number. When you look at a Web page or an app, advertisers see your number
and the site you were browsing.
Once they know that, it suddenly becomes easy for them to target ads
directly to you.
Apple hasn't advertised this feature much, so not many people know how to
turn it off. Plus, the setting isn't where you'd expect.

You have to go to Settings
General
About
Advertising.
Look for the section labeled "Limit Ad Tracking."
Confusingly, by default this is set to Off. In order to stop advertisers
from seeing your unique number, you have to switch the slider to On.

Advertisers have tons of annoying ways to track you online. Here are three
more ways you can opt out.

. Tracking cookies can tell advertisers tons of information about your
browsing.
Protect your browser from them.
. Some advertisers give you a way to opt-out of tracking automatically.
I'll show you how.
Turn on Do Not Track on IE 9
Do Not Track is an easy way to tell advertisers you're not interested in
them tracking you. This handy website allows you do it on Internet Explorer.

Simply load the site and follow the instructions. Once you're done, any
sites that have agreed to honor Do Not Track will no longer track you. Fewer
advertisers
will grab your personal information when you post on social media.
Not only does this site help you turn on Do Not Track, it will show you
whether you've done it properly. It displays a graph that will show you
whether
Do Not Track is enabled on your browser.
