I have never seen an equalizer system on a sound card that was accessible before, now having said that if it indeed is only for JAWS IE eloquence there is no need for anything other than a volume control in my humble opinion. I have several sound cards for this very purpose such as a Sabrent, CMedia and a star tek which all work quite well. The extra cards is because they are far too important to take a chance on being without one.
