Rosemarie, I read somewhere on an e-mail list that he's doing some kind of project for deaf people, but I don't really know what it is. Cheers Alex

I didn't know he had other projects going on. I just sent him another email so I'll give it a few days and see what he says. I've tried everything from deleting my temporary files and history to doing a computer scan to see if there might be a virus or something. Everything was fine as far as viruses. I really think web IE is a great browser and Alasdaire did a great job on developing it. Alasdair is a nice guy, but I think he's also working on other projects Cheers Alex -----Original Message----- From: Blind-Computing [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Rosemarie Chavarria Sent: 22 October 2012 22:36 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] an issue with web IE Hi, Alex, I wrote to them already and they haven't gotten back to me. I like it because of the different programs it has like the pod catcher and especially the calendar for setting up appointments. The problem is that I try to play a youtube video and web IE tells me that I need to update my browser because I’m using IE 7. I’m not using that now. I got this computer brand-new last year and it has internet explorer 8 on it. What could be the reason I’m getting these update messages? I do like web IE for some sites that aren’t accessible otherwise. Any help will be very much appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Rosemarie I’m running windows 7 64-bit system if that would help.
