Rosemarie, I read somewhere on an e-mail list that he's doing some kind of
project for deaf people, but I don't really know what it is.
Cheers
Alex

Hi, Alex,

Alasdaire does seem like a nice guy. I didn't know he had other projects
going on. I just sent him another email so I'll give it a few days and see
what he says. I've tried everything from deleting my temporary files and
history to doing a computer scan to see if there might be a virus or
something. Everything was fine as far as viruses. I really think web IE is a
great browser and Alasdaire did a great job on developing it.

Rosemarie, I have to admit that my experience is also that they can be a bit
slow. Alasdair is a nice guy, but I think he's also working on other
projects
Cheers

Rosemary, I\'d write to Webbie support about this, it's probably a known
problem, and they can tell you what to do. e-mail [email protected]

Subject: [Blind-Computing] an issue with web IE

Hi, everyone,

Recently I downloaded and installed the latest version of web IE. I like it
because of the different programs it has like the pod catcher and especially
the calendar for setting up appointments.

The problem is that I try to play a youtube video and web IE tells me that I
need to update my browser because I’m using IE 7. I’m not using that now. I
got this computer brand-new last year and it has internet explorer 8 on it.
What could be the reason I’m getting these update messages? I do like web IE
for some sites that aren’t accessible otherwise.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.

Rosemarie

I’m running windows 7 64-bit system if that would help.
