Hello there;
Another way to search;
1, alt+f=file,
2, T=options,
3, s=search,
Now tab until you hear;
Current folder checked,
Use the down arrow you will hear,
All folders checked.
Also you may want to have the next box checked, This checks the deleted
items also. Unless you have the deleted folder to empty on exit.

 then to do a search,
Example from the inbox,
Press the f3key,
Type in your search criteria,

Now, just shift+tab, you should see the results.
