have you used a program like tune up utilities? it might help to solve a
number of your issues.
I otfen have aps crashing on me for whatever reasons and tune up utilities
helps to solve most issues.

I don't want Firefox for one chore only, I have used IE since whenever it

Do you have firefox? If yes, instal the add on for it called webvism, it is
a great tool for the blind to help solve captcha's on websites. It takes 3
to 5 seconds to give you the result.

Is there anyone who can understand the Google audio CAPTCHA? Honestly, we
spent forever trying to hear it one afternoon, never got it write and no one
seemed to be answering the phone the one time we tried. I don't play phone
tag well.
Partial hearing loss in the ear most of you use on the phone, can't seem to
hold it on the opposite shoulder while I am typing so calling is my absolute
last resort and usually I just forget what it was I may have been trying to
do rather than call. I hate CAPTCHA! Google's in my opinion is one of the
worst I have heard and my husband said he can't read it either.
I would not use Google at all any longer, if I were not required to do so at
work. They play at accessibility but don't take it seriously, just look at
all the clutter on the home page.

Here you go with some quick instructions on creating a gmail account
NOTE: the same username and password can be used on all your google
accounts, i.e. youtube, google maps, google documents etc.
1. Go to www.gmail.com
2. Click enter on the link: Create an account 3. On the next page fill out
the form with appropriate details requested Edit boxes by typing the fields,
Check boxes by space barring on them, list boxes and combo boxes, you know
how they need to be done 4. There will be a challentge in filling the
username field, if the username already exists it will tell you that it
does, and give you combinations of usernames you may want to choose - use
the up and down arrow keys to toggle the options, enter to select, if they
are not what you wish you need to type in a new one again in the text box,
check again if the username is not already taken.
5. Use the audio captcha, or request a phone verification 6. Check the
checkboxes and hit enter on the next button
