As far as I can remember, my tech did a remote and got IE 9 from Windows
Updates.

I would say yes. Where did you get it from last time?

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Updating IE 8 to 9 Windows 7
Good Evening:
My 64 bit Win 7 Home Premium machine came with Internet Explorer 8
installed. I updated to IE 9 months ago in an attempt to solve some
problems I was having with IE. The update didn't solve the problems
and I rolled back to IE 8. For security reasons, I want to update to
IE 9.
I found it in Windows Updates. Is this the best place to update it
from?
I'm using JAWS 13 and Window-Eyes 7.5.4.1 and am planning on updating
both screen readers soon.
Thank you,
Margaret
