Hi Janet, To get to your default verboscity settings do the following: 1. Press, Insert key + 6, on the number row above the main key board to open the configuration manager. You can also press, Insert key + F2, to open the Jaws manager, arrow down to configuration manager & press enter. 2. Press control, shift + D, for the default configuration manager & press, Alt + S, to open user options. 3. Arrow down to Verboscity Options & press enter or, press the letter V, to put you into verboscity options. 4. With Verboscity Options open, you have 3 choices, Beginner Highest, Intermediate, & Advanced. Beginner Highest is the default . It doesn't matter which 1 is highlighted, if you tab 1 time on any of them you get to Beginner preferences, tab twice to get to Intermediate preferences & tab 3 times to get to Advanced preferences. Press the spacebar on the Level of preference you want to modify. Now, arrow down through the list of preferences checking / unchecking the preferences you want Jaws to report / not report. You can't turn off berboscity, per say but, you can uncheck everything if you don't want Jaws to report any of the listed items. 4. After you've finished, tab to okay, press the spacebar, press control + S, to save your changes, & Alt + F4 to close the configuration manager.
