Hello, Not sure that you will be able to tell the color of the cells but here is how to get it done.
Place your focus on the cell of the row you wish to color and hit the key combination Shift + Spacebar to select the entire row. Then the key combination Control + 1 to bring up the format cells dialog box. Control Tab to the tab that says fill, on this tab search for where it says background color. Use the arrow keys to switch between the color options and hit enter on the one you wish to apply. Tab and hit the OK button to close the dialog box and accept the color. I noticed that JAWS announces basic colors like black, white, green, orange etc. But if you were to get into shades it would announce something like RGB2255 or something like that, which is the color code from Red Blue and Green. -----Original Message----- From: Blind-Computing [mailto:blind-computing-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Stephanie Koetje Sent: Tuesday, January 22, 2013 4:58 AM To: 'blind-computing@jaws-users.com' Subject: [Blind-Computing] Excel 2007 cell background color Hi all, Happy MLK Day. Do you know how to make a row in a 2007 Excel sheet light green (for example)? I am using Jaws 14.
