I am using as I said in my message Outlook 2010. Through that email client, I access all my email accounts. Anyway, thanks for the ideas. I will try to figure out what went wrong.

Usually if one creates a filter it asks which types of mail you want to filter, and then asks where you want the filtered messages sent. You can even have messages automatically deleted. Another possibility is that you may have told your E-Mail program to make the deleted items folder your primary folder. I recall seeing a setting on one of my E-Mail programs where I could select a new folder for my main folder. Presumably one can choose the deleted items folder as their new main folder. Smile.
