Someone suggested just going into the Trusted section & reading the emails as Plain Text. Unfortunately, I've already got this enabled. The issue isn't the raw text content, but the fact that so many people seem unable to delete everything but their replies to the conversation. Hence, the insanely large amounts of >>> inclusions (of quoted & included text) and "Original Message" blocks, where they include the entire thread of the conversation in the body of their reply. What could have been a 1Kb reply of "I tried $X, and got $Result. Any suggestions?" turns into a 150Kb blob of >>>'s & included replies as embedded text, and none of it really needs to be there. Thus I was asking for an Email Cleaner to strip out those bits, thus leaving a much smaller, cleaner, & easier to read result.
To the one whom linked to the Jaws site, thank you. I just wish they'd give a bit more information on what each of those programs are, what they do, and why we might want to get them. Just having a one line entry of "$ProgramName, download it & unzip it." doesn't really help. But I'll go through the list & see if any work as I'd like them to.
